the pond and the stream

Ask me anything   I'm Bethany. I knit too much, read too much and have finally started writing as much as I should be. My love affairs include good Shetland wool, massive quantities of buttered toast, Elizabeth Gaskell novels, Doctor Who, zombies, and British folk rock.

A monster's work is never done.

Help, Tumblr friends! I want to knit the gorgeous Starfish Cardigan by Amy Christoffers, but I can’t decide which colorway to use.

The colorways (in order) are Lowland (light green), Moorland (dark green), Opaline (pale mother-of-pearl), and Tart (red).

Which one would you use?

I made a hat! And then I had to get up really early to take a picture of it, because I have about a ten minute window of decent light in my apartment and it’s at 7:30am.
So yeah, I look exhausted but that’s a great hat, and hand-dyed cashmere is definitely better than sleep or putting on make-up.

Answers!

@philokalia: It’s the Larch cardigan by Amy Christoffers!

@babyscientist: The pattern is Turmeric by Veera Välimäki

@thehareandthecrow: I’ll probably knit the top cardigan first (the Larch cardigan). I’m planning on using Knitpicks’ Wool of the Andes Sport in Dove Heather, a really soft light grey. I imagine it looking great with really bright red buttons!

So many sweaters, so little time! As soon as I finish the socks I have on my needles (which should be tonight! Yay!), I’m casting on for at least one of these patterns. Which one?
